Business Analysis Senior (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Position Overview:

This position provides financial control reporting services to controller teams and others throughout the Finance division. The person in this position will be part of a collaborative team that develops, operates and supports reporting technology focused on financial controls and related analysis.

Your Impact:

As part of the Finance Data Management Team supporting the automation of reconciliation and controls, data governance and data certification across Freddie Mac, responsibilities include:

• Leading project scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects

• Handling and supervising action items, issues, and risks associated with assigned projects.

• Follow up on items with appropriate parties to ensure their resolution and/or advance issues in a timely fashion

• Conducting weekly project status meetings, provide status updates to management on regular basis

• Lead project activities (All SDLC/EDM Phases), facilitating meetings, and driving adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

• Collaborating with key business and IT partners, both internal and external, across multiple divisions

• Act as the primary interface between technology infrastructure and business/functional area

• Completing High-level project management and analysis duties as well as performing detailed analysis to resolve process and data issues.

• Understanding and delivering on customer needs

• Developing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases, and support execution (and documentation) of UAT testing/Product validation.

• Supporting business operational risk controls, Internal/External audit activities

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of related experience

• Experience using reporting and analysis tools

• Confirmed business analysis and project management experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle using Agile project methodology.

• Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to gather meeting minutes effectively, and assist in developing presentations/materials

• Experience with all aspects of Agile/Modern delivery methodology

• Experience in SQL

• Exposure to Python scripting language, with emphasis on data analysis

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
