As an IT Business Systems Analyst on, you will be collaborating closely with the Product Owner and internal collaborators from various business organizations to perform analysis on competing applications and agree on the recommended standard within Cisco.
This will reduce friction and cost within Cisco through the removal of duplicate tooling and enhanced governance.
What You Will Do
- Manage and run applications used by Cisco employees.
- Consolidation and migration of multiple instances of an application into one single application, through means of analysis, impact assessment and communication
- Responsible for new license request approvals and downgrading of unused licenses
- Implementation and documentation of processes regarding enterprise licensing, license upgrades and downgrades and governance.
- Ensuring adequate support avenues are provided to Cisco employees.
- Creation and management of the support SharePoint site regarding the application.
- Supporting Webex spaces to answer partner questions and set up required follow-up meetings for all new application requests.
- Examines current business procedures and recommends new ones.
- Document operational and support process updates.
- Conduct analysis of new features, identify use-cases and make recommendations regarding implementation.
- Support with Onboarding, migration and offboarding of applications.
- Support with review and implementation of integrations.
- Conduct POC's to review new features, build support documentation and validate user experience.
- Engage with Agile ceremonies including Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews and Program Increment Planning.
- Provide data analysis requested by product owner to support decision making, provide awareness of leadership and advise strategy.
Who You Will Work With
Work with product owners, the software asset management team members and various internal collaborators across all business units within Cisco. External and internal Auditors of software applications. Participate in Vendor meetings to understand technical roadmap, support with feature implementation and advise planning.
Who You Are
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis with well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to creatively approach and tackle situations and to self-motivate and the ability to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile ceremonies including Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews and PI Planning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Jira experience is a plus.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
