Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, creating professional slide decks, and providing comprehensive administrative support to the company owner. This role will involve assisting in business analysis, researching companies, market analysis, and utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and market trends to support business decision-making.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Prepare comprehensive market analysis reports, including competitor analysis, market segmentation, and potential opportunities.
- Create visually appealing and professional slide decks for presentations, including charts, graphs, and visual representations of data.
- Collaborate with the company owner to develop business strategies and provide input based on research findings.
- Assist in the preparation of business documents, such as business plans, proposals, and strategic reports.
- Coordinate and follow up on assigned projects related to business analysis and research.
- Organize and maintain research files, records, and documents in electronic and physical formats.
- Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Research Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Ability to create visually appealing and professional slide decks using presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with market research and analysis tools.
- Experience in conducting industry and competitor analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel functions and formulas for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience in creating financial models and forecasts.
