TCG is pleased to offer this remote opportunity to individuals who reside within a commutable distance of Washington, DC as occasional on-site client meetings may be required.

US citizenship and the ability to pass a Federal government clearance are required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical staff to identify business requirements, create user stories with acceptance criteria, design and estimate timelines and costs, and facilitate reports
  • Evaluate stakeholder requirements using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Take initiative in recommending application enhancements and improvements.
  • Participate in the quality assurance process to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
  • Develop training content for and provide user training sessions on the use of web-based databases and data collection applications. Training sessions will be both one-on-one and classroom style.
  • Ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
  • Develop and utilize standardized templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Business Analyst including an additional year of experience developing test plans, cases and scripts and performing unit, integration, system, and regression software testing in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience working as a member of an Agile/Scrum software development team
  • Ability to act as a liaison between testers, developers, clients, and other stakeholders during all phases of development
  • Ability to facilitate customer user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Have an understanding of the basic principles of system analysis and quality assurance
  • Experience documenting requirements in User Story format with clear Acceptance Criteria
  • Experience working with databases, SQL, and Web-based applications and Working knowledge of Cucumber and Gherkin or similar software
  • Experience working with iterative systems development life-cycle and documentation
  • Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a customer service-oriented personality
  • Attention to detail, clear communication, writing, and presentation skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or CAPM
  • Experience developing, monitoring, and reporting on project schedule
  • Experience with eliciting and tracking functional and non-functional requirements for product configuration
  • Requirements traceability matrix (RTM) development and management

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
