Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst (Operations), you will be a strategic partner to our rapidly growing business. 

The Business Analyst (Operations) will align technology systems with business operations by analyzing and developing innovative and integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission, creative in driving business value and capable of operating with a high comfortability in an ambiguous & fast paced environment. 

The Business Analyst (Operations) will be a technical voice in the organization, developing strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Operational objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Execute inbound ticket management, triage engineer-level questions and route internally where appropriate within internal SLA framework
• Outline the scope of task and project based work requests to determine feasibility
• Initiate & facilitate feasibility meetings with internal departments to discuss requirements gathering & deliverable time frames of task and project based work
• Drive identification of substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
• Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, develop forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increase efficiency & productivity on multiple levels
• Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., product, engineering, sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
• Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with cross-functional partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience
• Knowledge of EDI concepts – including File Transfer Protocols, Encryption and Transmission methods, Flat files, HIPAA Standards, ANSI 834 file format, File testing methods, and Data Reconciliations process 
• Experienced in advanced Excel skills, especially in using formulas and VLOOKUPs, and experience with Access, XML, JavaScript, and text files, a plus.
• Hands on systems experience with: Jira, Mongo DB, Big Query, API, SQL, Python, Confluence, & PagerDuty
• Extensive experience in investigating and reproducing customer issues on mobile and web applications
• Operational Process Improvement experience
• Experience partnering cross-functionally at varied levels of leadership
• A successful builder with a track recording of turning ideas into reality
• A proven leader of complex projects and initiatives. Ability to manage many projects at the same time and their associated delivery timelines and expectations.
