We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our Strategy Team at Adage Technologies. If you're a skilled problem solver with an analytical mindset for documenting requirements and an empathetic approach to participating in discovery workshops and user interviews for large clients with complex technical projects, you'll be a great fit.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and requirements and collaborate with your scrum teams to develop meaningful solutions. You'll collaborate with client teams through discovery workshops to align objectives, gather requirements, and connect strategy to business objectives. Using empathy and attention to detail, you'll identify and propose strategic opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and business processes for mission-driven organizations, associations, and non-profits.
You'll use your knowledge and experience to:

• Collaborate with the User Experience Lead, your Scrum teams, and client leads to ensure the efficient flow of information and communication across all teams.
• Document requirements and work with the Project Owner to ensure user stories are accurately created to fulfill the design, technical, and business needs.
• Comfortably present findings and high-level recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Proactively suggest alternative solutions and anticipate potential issues, taking steps to mitigate them before they arise.
• Leverage knowledge of the Adage technical ecosystem and emerging technologies to improve project outcomes.
• Create workflow documentation to accurately capture requirements, systems, and constraints that inform project development and implementation.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience in business, information or computer science, user experience, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the technology consulting industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Experience conducting workshops, designing workflow documentation, and creating user stories.
• Familiarity with databases, technical integrations, and related software tools.
• Proven track record of identifying strategic opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with Jira, Miro, Confluence or other project management and documentation software tools.
