Business Analyst:
This individual will be an astute, analytical, and highly motivated self-starter. The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail and strive for excellence in every interaction. A confident communicator with a dynamic personality and a drive to reach decision makers is essential. You will work closely on financial, operational, and strategic initiatives to provide valuable and actionable insights to support the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Business Development:
- Develop a deep understanding of how our data is structured and transform client data into insights running quantitative analysis that empower our growth teams to make effective decisions.
- Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Monitor business performance and present insights and trends.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Maintain and manage repository of reports and dashboards.
- Take responsibility for analytical projects from intake and ideation to completion in collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, and other teams.
Finance & Executive Support
- Assist in generating monthly executive performance reviews.
- Generate and maintain company financial projections.
- Develop strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and application to financial analysis related to company value and potential initiatives.
- Identify process enhancements.
- Perform projects as needed by C-Suite.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a preference for majors in Finance, Economics, or STEM fields (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed expectations
- Relentless drive, energy, and work ethic
- Passionate about learning and professional/career development
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship development and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle questions and objections
- Extremely detail oriented
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (Ability to use functions such as INDEX MATCH, IF and other logic statements, XLOOKUPS).
- Knowledge of VBA, Python or SQL a plus, but not required
- High Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
