Business Analyst

About the Role
The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with a team Engineers to gather, manage, and prioritize reporting requirements while collaborating with Product and Client Services to deliver best in class analytics to address industry problems.
Responsibilities

• Understand and become the subject matter expert on multiple software team initiatives working on the Mastermind Product
• Analyze, clarify, and validate business needs
• Craft detailed technical user stories based on product requirements
• Define acceptance criteria and test user stories to ensure quality
• Help teams triage, investigate and resolve defects
• Manage dependencies and cross-team coordination
• Act as a liaison between Product and Engineering
• Develop an understanding of Mastery's users and act as an advocate for their needs

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a BA in an Agile SaaS environment
• Ability to work independently to meet objectives
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and meeting facilitation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Jira experience
• API/backend testing experience
• Experience in logistics industry a plus
• Project Management or Agile certification a plus

Our customers - large transportation companies and shippers who need those companies - have struggled with systems that are outdated or inadequate.
