Business Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to define business requirements and functional specifications for various projects. You will play a critical role in delivering excellence in customer service, while maintaining a proactive, client-focused attitude. Your work will help ensure the successful balance of quality, client satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability. Client Office-Based (5 Days a Week) Position

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate with Account Managers and Project Managers to define the approach, deliverables, and estimated effort for business analysis tasks.
• Elicit and gather client requirements through interviews, workshops, focus groups, document analysis, brainstorming, and other techniques.
• Lead agile processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story creation; translate requirements into epics and user stories.
• Develop client-facing documentation, ensuring adherence to version control, company style guides, and processes.
• Prepare and document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications in accordance with industry best practices.
• Facilitate communication between creative, business, and technical teams at various levels, including C-suite, IT, marketing, and customer service.
• Utilize tools such as use cases, process maps, and wireframes to support requirement gathering and solution design.
• Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, clarifying requirements, and troubleshooting roadblocks in collaboration with the development team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
• Provide client training on specific functions and utilities, including content administration.

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years of business analysis experience, including planning, monitoring, elicitation, requirements management, and solution validation.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.
• Proven experience with e-commerce and mobile payments, including an understanding of enterprise e-commerce mechanisms like GWP/PWP.
• Client-facing experience and a strong track record of working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in a Technology-Enabled Services environment.
• Familiar with business case development, SWOT analysis, BRDs, software requirement specifications, use cases, user stories, and wireframes.
• Strong background in business process re-engineering (BPR), “as-is/to-be” process design, and value stream mapping.
• Expertise in agile and scrum methodologies.
• Ability to present complex information through clear, simple visual models.
• Experience in user-centered design and a solid understanding of information architecture principles.
• Technical background or training in web development, web design, or programming is preferred.
• Passionate about digital technology and up-to-date with the latest industry trends in digital transformation and consumer applications.
• Strong skills in BPMN, Flowchart, DFD, and UML 2.0 (class, use-case, sequence, state, activity diagrams).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence administration is essential.
