Business Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the technology team and partnering across multiple disciplines to define use cases and requirements. By acting as a liaison between marketing, devops, and developers, you will assist the teams in building the right product for our clients. This role will be working within the client’s marketing systems to be the points of contact for teams building on the eco system.

JOB SCOPE

• Define and document use cases, requirements for various products in the marketing eco system
• Identify dependencies and guide teams to address them
• Assess potential gaps and issues in requirements and drive clients and teams to modify
• Collaborate with the QA teams to inform the right testing
• Ensure the products are built to the right specifications
• Verify the different aspects of requirements are taken into consideration such as data measurement, exceptions, analytics, privacy, and accessibility
• Inform technical requirements such as data compliance, privacy, and security requirements
• Provide documentation for all completed and in-progress work for both internal and external facing projects
• Map and integrate all new systems, programs, and applications to align with marketing objectives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience as a business, data or technical analyst. Experience in marketing, CRM, or technical writing a plus
• Able to thrive independently given direction and objectives. 
• Experience with Jira, Confluence
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to transform data into a digestible and presentable story
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on enterprise level projects with minimal direction
• Able to quickly assimilate and apply new business concepts
• Work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
