Description

Job Summary:

This position will be supporting Sparksoft's DSH and EDI Project. The ideal candidate will be required to/have experience in the following:

• Solicit, understand, and document health insurance market place needs and customers' business requirements, processes and workflows.
• Research market trends and the ACA landscape to enable development of timely, accurate, and relevant product features and requirements.
• Work with developers to create the functional specifications that meet requirements,
• Serve as a subject matter expert to assist developers building system functions, and work with the QA team to test the developed functionality.
• Play a leadership role in a Product Development team that employs Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as its guiding process infrastructure.
• Work closely with CMS, Business Development, and other Stakeholders PO's, Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrate both existing and new functionality to the CMS stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and help build and document specifications for development.
• Update and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Conduct gap analysis between application and stated customer requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact.
• Work with Product Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and test the desired functionality changes.
• Assist in developing training materials and product documentation.
• Tracking project schedule and associated risks.
• Support overall coordination between all involved parties, using Project Management skills and Techniques.
• Perform any other project task(s) as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 2+ years working in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of managing product builds teams.
• Demonstrated experience of delivering similar engagements.

Education/Experience Level:

• 2 + years in a Business Analyst role preferably in healthcare domain.
• Computer Science or related Information Technology degree preferred.
