As a Business Analyst, you will help us in the pursuit of creating a digital product that continuously improves our relationship with Alcon customers, consumers and sales associates. The focus of this team is user experience. We don't just build what we're asked to build, we look into why we're being asked to build it to make sure we're solving the right problems. We love out-of-the-box ideas and questioning the norm. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborates with the Product Director, Global Product Experience Manager, and other Business Analysts to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value
• Elicits requirements to meet team goals
• Delivers functional specifications
• Create and manage diagrams and product flows
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Supply Chain, SAP, Customer Master/ Salesforce & Digital Health Suite/Smart Cataract)
• Serves as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements
• Supports the Product Director in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with the overall product vision
• Supports business case building and value assurance of digital solutions
• Defines, implements and tracks product performance metrics
• Preps and supports team demos
• Works closely with the Product Director on priorities and day to day decision-making

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in JIRA, Agile and Scrum methodology
• Knowledgeable of SAP and Hybris backend
• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
