Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Analyst for our Business Insights product line to increase capacity within our rapidly growing team. Our team works closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and clients to develop solutions that enable our customers to have top tier information access and analytics. This journey includes identifying, defining, and developing digital products which positively impact communities. Our goal is to transform the industry with best-in-class digital solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Be the liaison between stakeholders and the technical team
• Facilitate and manage scrum ceremonies throughout the development life cycle
• Negotiate roadblocks that may occur during development with the Product Owner, while maintaining satisfaction
• Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and be able to create meaningful requirements and document thoroughly
• Evaluate business processes, elicit requirements, and perform requirements analysis
• Produce required documentation for releases and create change proposals
• Perform quality assurance testing and help product team in performing user acceptance testing

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Well versed in Agile / Scrum ceremonies
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking
• Well organized, self-motivated, and enjoy finding solutions to problems
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Azure Devops
• Experience working with a team that develops web-based technologies with an emphasis on data centric applications
• Familiar with ITIL framework and Project Management Institute Standards
• Experience completing QA testing through tools like Swagger and Postman
• Science or Engineering background is preferred
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is preferred

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development performing requirements gathering, elaboration, story creation, acceptance validation, and agile management of teams.

Typical office or home office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
