Location: Columbia, MD (WFH Flexible)

Position Summary:

• Solicit, understand, and document project needs and customers' business requirements, processes and workflows.
• Research market trends to enable development of timely, accurate, and relevant features and requirements.
• Work with the development contractor to perform detailed requirement analysis, evaluate test strategy documents, and evaluate test execution plans.
• Work closely with stakeholders to interview various community partners such as Immunization Information Systems (IISs), Technology Vendors, Consortia Members, CDC Stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering meetings. Document and provide updates related to requirements gathering process.
• Analyze exiting requirements and develop full business understanding of the workflows.
• Work closely with the Technical Architect and O&M team in reviewing the requirements for new enhancements.
• Evaluate the developed user stories and review them with Stakeholders to ensure the gaps are identified early and addressed.
• Document all the gaps, challenges and issues identified during the assessment of IZ Gateway requirements, architecture and processes.
• Evaluate communication processes across multiple stakeholders of the IIS systems.
• Capture key issues and track progress on tasks across the project and establish priorities.
• Ensure project schedule and associated risks are tracked accordingly.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead decision making through influence, with the ability to make sound decisions in the best interest of the client as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with SOAP APIs
• Experience with federal projects
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Education/Years of Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of total IT experience, preferably as a Business Analyst
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any Information Technology related areas preferred.
