Business Analyst - AX/D365

Job Summary

Bedrock’s Dynamics AX/D365 Business Analyst is responsible to perform software requirement analysis, outreach to clients, end-users and management, as well as conduct gap analysis, configuration, troubleshooting, and project participation in support of Bedrock’s Dynamics AX/D365 ERP environment.  As a member of our team, you would be expected to participate in every aspect of the delivery process, including gathering requirements, design, development, QA, installation, integration, and documentation. A successful candidate will need to interact with other internal and external technical resources, as well as functional Business Analysts and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with end users, gathering and understanding issues
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues
• Responsible for creating requirement specifications
• Responsible for designing, testing, documentation, and training of solutions
• Responsible for managing projects to ensure timelines and budgets are met
• Develop or update SOP’s as needed
• Provide level of effort estimates to be used during vetting process
• Oversee day to day operations, maintenance, and support of assigned areas of AX/D365

Qualifications 

• 2 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 as a Business Analyst, concentrating on Financials
• Working knowledge of support ticketing, such as Zendesk
• Familiarity with AX/D365 functional modules, concentrating on Financials

• Ability to work independently, prioritize and solve problems proactively 
• Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify root causes, and anticipate risks

Key Hard Skills 

• Knowledge of additional areas of Microsoft Dynamics such as inventory, procurement, warehouse, etc. desired
• Knowledge of AX/D365 reporting and/or external reporting platforms desired
• Experience with additional platforms, such as SalesForce and Magento are desired
• Working knowledge of SQL, and integration platforms, including Mulesoft is a plus

Education and Certifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in functional area (Accounting, Logistics, etc.) or Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
• Microsoft Certifications desired
