ABOUT THIS POSITION

This role is responsible for providing technical support to all HRCM clients post implementation. This includes maintaining the workflow configuration, monitoring the client's data health scorecard, providing custom reporting via SQL, and troubleshooting issues reported by end users, for both internal and client team members.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Able to execute on client workflow configurations when provided with requirements
  • Utilize your intermediate understanding of SQL and 1+ years of practical use of SQL from previous position
  • Independently support Charge Integrity and Professional Charge Integrity
  • Represent Waystar in client meetings regarding new business initiatives and/or changes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to determine effective resolutions
  • Provide analytical support to Client Success Manager to identify areas of opportunity to drive client performance
  • Facilitate conversations with client related to workflow and data health

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Intermediate understanding of SQL and 1+ years of practical use of SQL from previous position
  • You know how to execute and like to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • An understanding and knowledge of hospital revenue cycle workflows and the provider reimbursement process from patients and payers obtained either through direct experience in a healthcare setting or an RCM focused HIT company
  • Problem solving skills; able to analyze a problem and design creative solutions
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Possess planning and organization skills to independently develop and lead projects when applicable
  • Understanding of business practices and approaches, recommend business process changes when applicable to avoid development, and understand how to integrate business processes
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to succinctly convey complex ideas through writing
  • Great people skills; able to facilitate, negotiate and persuade stakeholders
  • Flexible and agile; able to rapidly adapt to changing situations and inputs
  • College Degree required; Business or Computer Science degree preferred

The Client Operations, Clearinghouse + Payment Operations, and Business Transformation team at Waystar builds brand loyalty and ensures solution adoption and client success. From resolving concerns to maintaining positive relationships, the team works directly with clients to provide resources and tools to help achieve their healthcare revenue cycle goals. The team is split into two divisions: Health Systems + Hospitals (HS+H) and Ambulatory. The Health Systems + Hospitals division includes large health systems at a multi-level local or national scale. The Ambulatory division includes organizations such as provider groups and physician and specialty practices.
