Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Cloudability, AWS) II to join our growing. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Our ideal candidate will possess an understanding of technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge. If you enjoy impacting a team through complex business analytics, this position could be a great fit for you!

This position is a emote and will be a W-2 Hourly 6-month contract with possible extension. 

The hourly rate is $ 45/hr. – $ 48/hr. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze infrastructure requirements and identify gaps for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business needs.
• Develop and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Evaluate existing systems and propose solutions for optimization and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments for FinOps projects and platforms. 
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance performance and reliability.
• Assist in the implementation of new infrastructure solutions and technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to FinOps. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst withing a technical environment.
• Proficiency with the Cloudability tool for pulling data and reports. 
• Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business terms.
• Experience in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices within FinOps.
• Capacity to adapt to changing technological environments.
