Business Analyst, eCommerce

SUMMARY

Omni-Channel is a core part of our business and as we continue to both build upon foundational offerings as well as evolve our business, the role of the Business, Analyst, Ecommerce is a core role to support the business. This role is responsible for regular and ad-hoc business reporting, result evaluation and analysis, identifying trends and supporting the Omni Operations team with insights and recommendations to help grow our business and customer experience. This individual contributor role will work collaboratively across the Omni Channel and Store Operations Teams as well cross-functionally within the organization on a regular basis. This role will interact with technical teams when necessary to continually evolve business reporting to support both the corporate team needs but also our field team needs as they arise. This role requires an analytical candidate that understands both results but also impacts of those results or opportunities on customers, store teams and company goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Responsible for Proactive and Reactive Ad-hoc Business Reporting to assist the Business team with analytical support including trends & changes in program performance or business trends, future prediction/forecasting, etc. on retail impacted Omni Channel metrics.
• Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. business reporting including data evaluation and recaps. This includes partnership with technical teams on reporting tool, acting as the SME for data points tracked and requesting/developing new reports as needed to support the business needs.
• Create insights and recommendations along with reporting and data to share with Omni Channel Operations team as well as cross functional partners as needed around program changes, trends and needs. These insights may also help drive program improvements on results, growth, process improvement and cost reduction.
• Contribute to continual improvement for the business by discovering new, relevant data sources tools to support business needs and offer new insight.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to work and travel as business demands, up to 5% travel locally on occasion.
• Ability to work remotely if needed and maintain deliverables and timelines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Can manipulate large data sets, to align on analytical based decisions
• Candidate must be very organized and able to create own self tracking of system and data changes made for history archiving and future evaluation of metrics.
• Customer centric mindset - ability to think of cause and impact and formulate recommendations/insights from data into actions and change ideas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good developed planning and organizational skills to accomplish defined targets.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, able to work under deadlines in a changing environment, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and manage multiple priorities and timelines
• Fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration among teams and other departments

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or other related fields
• Experience Minimum: 1+ years experience of retailing experience with 2+ years of Finance or related analytical experience
• Experience with Omni-Channel Retail experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Cognos preferred.
