Business Analyst - Global Markets Traded Products Technology

Job Description:
The Global Markets Traded Products Technology team manages two critical data platforms - GMPP/Zinc and Arctic that support multiple Enterprise functions. Those functions include Finance (daily PV to Subledger), Global Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, daily Collateral/Margin, Enterprise Capital Management, Central Regulatory Reporting and other regulatory reporting including NFRR.
Every year the team is involved in high priority, critical enterprise programs often with regulatory reporting requirements. The Zinc data team is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager to fulfill these mandates.
Responsibilities

• Own project/program delivery for Traded Products
• Analyze downstream data needs and provide end-to-end solutions to enable GMPP/Zinc to deliver on key projects and programs
• Create business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, JIRA tickets, project plans, resource allocation charts and other project documents
• Manage and track progress of project tasks, address ad-hoc data requests from users
• Work with internal development teams and external business partners to identify scope and define approach as well as execute on key deliveries

• Track and drive resolution for data quality issues
• Manage the day to day project deliverables including providing project status updates to the PMO team
• Ability to do deep dives into issues to help drive resolution
• Highlight, escalate and resolve issues, conflicts and roadblocks

Required Skills/Exp and

• Minimum 5 years of experience (7 years or more preferred), with 2 years minimum in a combined BA and PM role in a Financial Institution
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Expertise in Enterprise Credit and Market Risk Management systems with good understanding of regulatory initiatives such as Dodd-Frank, Volcker and Basel
• Good understanding of Fixed Income Credit Commodities (FICC) & Equities OTC Derivative products
• Familiarity with derivative products risk sensitiveness: Greeks and PnL scenarios. Working expertise in big bank Risk data warehouse is a plus.
• Experience of working with cross-functional and global teams with dynamic business requirements
• Good understanding of all asset classes and basic risk concepts
• Good understanding of business and data flows
• Experience with project management and project reporting tools

Bachelor's degree is required
Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization). Possess a working knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization. Leverages experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software). Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis to align the technology to business strategy. Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application. Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions. Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies. Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting, and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs. Identifies, document and troubleshoot application related problems. Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications. Leads or participate in continuous improvement efforts; Building expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes. Creates, maintains and presents training materials for end-users. Pay and benefits information
New York City pay range:
$76,500 - $135,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
