The Business Analyst will help drive the success of the business by providing business analyses and analytical solutions to guide management and operational decision-making. The individual will work on projects dealing with key performance metrics tracking, financial and business assessments of potential strategic initiatives, business forecasting and modelling, and other ad hoc requests. The solutions could range from dashboards in advanced BI content to exploratory analysis and impact assessments that leads to strategic recommendations. This position should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will work collaboratively with associates across different levels, functions, business units and regions to support all brands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Decision Support - Take owner, customer and transactional data to develop recommendations that assist business decisions pertaining to but not exclusive to owner/customer behavior and business performance pertaining to spend decisions.
• Deep Dive Analysis - Define which data will be needed to understand product and business performance, and to answer questions posed by stakeholders. Recommend courses of action based on the data gathered.
• Reporting/Innovation - Works closely with the Business Intelligence Team to create meaningful and insightful reporting that tracks and measures performance across a variety of business units and drive actions, while identifying areas of opportunity to improve reporting efficiencies.
• Exploratory Analysis/Modelling - Responsible for collection, cleaning and processing of data to identify patterns and trends to answer business questions and improve decision making process.
• Communication - Communicate findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaboration - Collaborate with fellow team members as well as external teams in consumer finance, sales and marketing, finance, inventory/revenue management and others on projects and new business initiatives.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree required in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong analytical skills: ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data to provide strategic and actionable insights
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Ability to combine technical expertise with business acumen and communication skill to design, develop and communicate solutions to complex business problems.
• Detailed oriented and able to multi-task and meet goals and timelines

Technical Skills

• Proficient in coding specific programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Snowflake or Python
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Sufficient in one of the advanced visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Job Experience

• 3 years' experience in analytical role, preferably supporting sales, marketing, finance, or similar areas
• Education or work experience utilizing quantitative data analysis, statistics and data mining to solve problems
