Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Business Analyst II is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
• Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
• Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
• Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.

Requirement:

• a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
• SharePoint experience
• Familiar with EDI 834 and 837 testing and analysis
• Ability to run complex SQL queries
• some Knowledge Management experience preferred
