Business Analyst II (SQL /Tableau)

Our client, a world leader in Pharmaceuticals and In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) tools, is seeking an accomplished and driven u201cBusiness Analyst II u201d

Duties:

u2022 Creates usable data for the organization with a focus on reporting, dashboards and data analysis. Is able to work under varying circumstances by being proactive in asking questions and understanding requestor goals. Has the ability to be agile in learning data sets, managing user requests, and making recommendations for process improvement.

u2022 Understands the flow of data and tool logic to anticipate downstream impacts. Resolves issues and validates data to maintain the quality of the data within the span of responsibility.

u2022 Will receive incoming tickets from a system as assigned by team leads

u2022 Will work on tickets to create and/or combine data sets from raw data into visual/usable formats for the end user

u2022 May need to work with the stakeholder/end user to ensure their description of needs matches expectations

u2022 Will use Altrix to combine/merge data sets

u2022 Will use Tableau for creating visualizations

u2022 May need to push stakeholders for additional or clarifying information to ensure needs are met

Skills:

u2022 Advanced computer skills

u2022 SQL experience building complex queries and analyzing data

u2022 Understands relational databases and data structures (tables, hierarchical structures, flat files, etc .)

u2022 Expertise in building Dashboards and visualizing data

u2022 Familiarity with Alteryx & Tableau preferred

u2022 SAP & SalesForce knowledge a plus

u2022 Technical aptitude to use data to answer business questions

u2022 Efficient and effective oral and written communication skills

u2022 Ability to handle multiple functions at one time

Education:

Bachelor degree in IT, data science, business analytics or related fields.
