Job Description

Yorktel is currently seeking a Business Analyst 3 that will assist SSA on a variety of projects by conducting research, analyzing data, creating reports, making recommendations, and presenting findings to SSA team members and executives. The Business Analyst duties will include research, gap analysis, milestone metrics training repository, current scope and future scope. The customer wants the BA to come in, pull all existing training documentation/materials/references/other guides and organize it. From this initial effort, the BA will help the customer identify training/learning gaps and redundancies. This would be done by reviewing the office/technical skills for translators, captioners, inquiry responders, policy coordinators, and those that intake inquiries. The end result that the customer is seeking is to have the BA create a definitive guide for training new personnel and providing refresher training for people who have been performing their respective jobs for a while. This will be a helpful first step for identifying knowledge capture/knowledge transfer moving forward.
Roles and Responsibilities
The customer is seeking excellent documentation, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; needs to be strong in troubleshooting and analytical abilities; they need experience analyzing complex data; must have keen attention to detail; require experience creating detailed reports and conducting multi-media presentations; and must be proficient in the use of the most current version of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Qualifications
The Business Analyst 3 position calls for a candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus 10 years' experience in business analysis. An alternate requirement that would be deemed acceptable would be to have a Master's Degree in business (MBA) plus five years' experience in business analysis.
