Business Analyst Intern

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Tech Strategy & Operations team. If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you!

As a business analyst you will do a deep dive into the inner workings of the technology organization by the numbers, help it run more efficiently, identify improvement areas and propose solutions. You’ll learn how to develop an analysis from multiple disparate data sets, defend your assumptions and prepare executive facing reports on your findings. This is a great opportunity for someone considering a role in consulting or finance.

What you’ll get to do:

• Build an understanding of the cost of technology initiatives
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvements or revenue gain
• Develop allocation projections for capacity 
• Support roadmap planning exercises 

You should apply if you have most of this experience: 

• Ability to do VLOOKUP, IF, data cleanup exercises and assemble conclusions from data in excel 
• 1-2 years of experience 
• Willingness to make an assumption and defend it
