Sentara Health is currently seeking a full-time remote Business Analyst - Operationsfor Sentara Health Plans.
Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia and North Carolina
Hours of operations: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (EST)
Job Description Summary
The Fee Team is responsible for managing all the fee updates, reimbursements, rate enhancements and contract updates. The Business Analyst role is a critical need for our team. The Business Analyst role plays an intricate part in supporting the Senior Business Analyst as well as a reliable backup for the rest of the fees/configuration team. This role serves as a reliable bridge between management, IT, and the end users.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- DMAS annual updates (BH & Commercial)
- Maintaining the pricing environments 3M, nThrive , NetworX and Modeler
- Analyzing and evaluating fees to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Maintaining the fee structures in both systems (CSC and QNXT)
- Maintaining the contracts in both systems (CSC and QNXT)
- Project implementation (testing, research, thorough analysis, payment methodologies, recommending reimbursement process)
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Job Requirements:
Required: Related experience - 1 year
Preferred: QNXT experience
Preferred: SQL experience

Job Summary
Designs, produces and analyzes customer operations data. Creates and maintains reports for business operations and special projects as it pertains to operational processes. Utilizes knowledge of numerous applications, databases, information systems, statistical tools and analytical principles to monitor and analyze information in support of the business. Assists in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of information systems.
Related experience will be in one of the following areas, operations, IT, or reporting.
Qualifications:
BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree
