Business Analyst (Oracle PTP)

The Business Analyst will be a full-time resource in the Global Backoffice Operations Team responsible for supporting applications utilized by the PTP (Procure to Pay) business teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- A solid understanding of all modes (i.e. Purchasing, Account Payables) of Oracle PTP (Procure to Pay)
- Provide PTP strategic and process expertise to business teams
- Works with business to provide continual improvements on shift left initiatives to lower support tickets and expedite business processes
- Trouble shoot daily operational system issues to define root cause and define temporary/permanent solutions
- Excellent problem solver, critical thinker to provide problem/situation analysis
- Must be able to prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly with the ability to multitask
- Proactively identify and address defects/issues and manage root cause analysis on critical repeatable problems
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. The ability to work with diverse globally distributed resources is critical
- Strong communication and written skills to create documentation on new issues resolved, root cause analysis as well as troubleshooting steps attempted prior to closing or escalation incidents
- Being resourceful and responsive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires maximum system performance, minimum down time, and a high degree of customer satisfaction and confidence
- Interact collaboratively with cross-functional teams (business customers, team members, IT teams)
- Interact with vendors for incident resolution as required
- Ability to be on-call and deliver support during business interruptions
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Computer Science, Commerce, Business Process Management or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with PTP (Procure to Pay) business processes using Oracle e-Business Suite R12
- Working knowledge of underlying data models and technical tools (e.g. SQL queries, SQL Developer, TOAD)
- Experience with Kofax Applications (Capture, KTM, Markview)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Industrial Manufacturing company
- Experience working on support team
