Business Analyst

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: • Conduct department interviews to assess the existing business processes, but comfortable working in a workshop environment • Develop workflows and make recommendations for other process improvements • Develop Swim Lane Diagram, Work Instruction, and other departmental documentation • Work with ERP functional consultants and other developers to determine the best solutions • Work with ERP developers to design/create and consume Application Programming Interface (API) data, as well as document system integrations • Collaborate with team to improve business processes • Monitor assigned tickets and complete them in a timely matter • Follow a standard implementation methodology and produce the high-quality deliverables to specification • Troubleshoot all assigned process and system issues and determine the root cause analysis (RCA) The ideal candidate shall possess the following: • Education: Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Computer Science or CIS/MIS preferred • Strong knowledge of assessing and improving existing business processes • Working knowledge of and/or possession of professional certifications in process/project management and process improvements methodologies: Scrum, Six Sigma, PMP, etc. • Experience implementing new processes for additional business requirements • Working knowledge of API integrating Dynamics NAV with the other third-party systems- REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints are preferred, but not required • Strong knowledge of compiling business requirements from the user and working with the technical developers to produce the end solution • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft productivity Platform to include Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. preferred • 1+ year actual user experience in Dynamics BC 365 preferred • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and develop appropriately design processes and solutions is a must Note: As a general requirement of the Business Analyst, tasks will be assigned as needed by the ERP Manager
