The Opportunity

Our Canada Gas Portfolio Management and Reporting team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver to support our Facilities Reliability & Integrity Portfolio, based in Calgary, AB.

Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Management & Reporting, this position will help manage large scale Facility Reliability & Integrity (FRI) portfolios and provide governance of projects and verification of work advancing the FRI program.  The position also helps in budget management and program forecasting, along with performing monthly program analysis and reporting.

What you’ll do

• Provide support on budget development related to FRI programs (Capital and Expense)
• Work closely with business subject matter experts to model current and future state business practices, perform gap analysis for existing process and provide support on building a consistent GasCo FRI budget management process
• Governance of projects and verification of work advancing in FRI program
• Review each project’s cost and progress on monthly basis, consistent with other Capital and Expense programs
• Program forecasting; determine overall program trends and update PPM Initiatives (pools) each month to manage program forecast in a timely fashion
• Provide support on portfolio rebalancing to hit budget targets, if and when required
• Perform monthly FRI program analysis and helping build crisp FRI reports for senior executives

Minimum Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education in a related field
• 4 years’ experience in oil and gas
• An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query and other Power Apps skills
• Experience providing support for budget management, program forecasting and reporting
• Experience with large scale Facility Reliability & Integrity programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Facility Reliability & Integrity program analysis and reporting experience
• Proven experience researching, gathering, analyzing and synthesizing multi-source data and producing clear and precise outputs, reports, and recommendations related to FRI program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide and present timely and relevant feedback/reporting to various stakeholders
