Business Analyst (Pricing) - Remote

Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN) is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our finance team supporting deal desk operations and business strategy. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and informing decision-making across the organization through data analysis to extract meaningful insights. In this role, you will model and monitor price performance and collaborate effectively with other DFIN teams including sales, product management, services, marketing, and finance, to implement pricing initiatives and drive positive results.

• Gather and organize data from both internal and external sources and utilize Excel or other tools to analyze and identify trends and opportunities
• Prepare summaries or presentations of analyses and key findings to share with team members and stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining and updating business models to evaluate strategies and impact on profitability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams by participating in meetings or discussions and providing related data and analysis as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues across other DFIN teams to gather input and feedback on initiatives 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, pricing, or related field
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerBI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to ask questions and challenge assumptions
• Excellent communicator and ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
