Role & Responsibilities

As a member of the Private Client Group (“PCG”), the Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting client teams in a manner allowing them to continually improve the level of service provided to clients.  This would be accomplished by improving information flow, optimizing services performed, cultivating education/knowledge sharing and a continual pursuit of defining best practices across our client services.  As such the role will focus on, but not be limited to, the following:

Data Analysis –

  • Work across various areas to drive initiatives associated with improving the quality and timeliness of the data used in PCG management and flash reports. These include coverage responsibilities, resource planning, client activities and pipeline health and working closely with the co-leads of the PCG to evaluate and monitor risk and client metrics.

Focus on Client Services –

  • Identify service areas that can be enhanced and work closely with the co-leads of the PCG to evaluate opportunities, whether through new partnerships, technologies, or skill sets.

Coordinate areas for improvement of PCG workflows across teams –

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across our 7 client teams and key cross-functional teams to understand their client and business needs and effectively identify opportunity for optimization, efficiency, and/or enhancements.
  • Work with client teams to identify best practices across primary functions within the PCG – business development, client service, team management and operations. Act as the PCG liaison within these projects.
  • Coordinate rollout of strategic technology and investment initiatives across the Private Client Group teams.

Build knowledge sharing and information/education across the Private Client Group

  • Identify areas of system training needs across the department and work with the appropriate cross-functional teams to build learning/training sessions to ensure consistency of team experiences.
  • Work with teams to build a list of technical or topical training sessions as part of an ongoing ‘curriculum’ e.g. lunch and learn with industry specialists on investments, T&E/Planning, Communication skills, etc.
  • Develop internal communication to build awareness on opportunities and drive implementation across the PCG – focused on two paths: technical expertise/client service and externally focused networking and business development.
  • Serve as the company intranet (Seismic) owner for the PCG – curate the information available from the various teams.

Monitor Pipeline health and Marketing activities –

  • Define the proper information flow, recordkeeping, and reporting for key stakeholders (client teams and management).
  • Ensure teams are disciplined in tracking activities.

Oversee Client On/Off Boarding Process –

  • Lead client boarding meetings that will include the client team and representatives from Operations, Investments and Compliance

Qualifications

  • Deep institutional knowledge with 7-10 years’ experience within private client wealth management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in project and process management and working cross-functionally
  • Strong systems capabilities; Experience with Seismic, MS Dynamics, Addepar preferred but not required
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solver, solutions-oriented, and demonstrated autonomy when executing on assignments
  • Proven ability to identify gaps, inefficient processes, and automation opportunities
