Business Analyst / QA Engineer

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / QA Engineer to work for a long-term project. The client is a big wellness company dedicated to developing, manufacturing, marketing, and distributing a wide range of personal care products through a diverse portfolio of brands.

We offer 100% remote, full-time work with a flexible schedule.

 Main tasks: 

• Work closely with business users, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing reports.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software development practices.

Skills required:

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis and quality assurance testing.
• Experienсe as a Business Analyst, involved in business analysis, requirements gathering, gap analysis and Functional specification preparation.
• Experience in different phases of testing such as Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Backend Testing and Post Production Support.
• Proficient  SQL skills and reading, writing SQL queries,
• Experience with Source repositories Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business requirements.
