Job Description
This position is for an Information Risk Analyst on a restricted application team, and the candidate will work under the direction of the Application Development Manager. The position will be responsible for working with Application Development, Infrastructure, Technology Controls Officers, Production Support and Operations teams, as well as JPMC enterprise and external client Risk Management teams, to ensure application compliance with both JPMC and client IT Risk policies and controls. The position will involve coordination and support of various annual audits conducted internally by JPMC, independent third party auditors and by external clients, and will also work with independent third party teams to coordinate execution of security tests, to document vulnerabilities and to follow up with coordination of remediation with appropriate groups.
  • A Government Security Clearance is required for this position. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Fingerprinting
    • Credit Check and Tax Filing History
    • Employment History and References
    • Proof of either United States Citizenship or legal U.S. Legal Permanent Residence for 3 years
  • 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology
  • 3 years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Audit/ IT Governance/IT Controls or equivalent
  • Knowledge/experience with NIST 800-53 controls (or an equivalent control framework)
  • Experience with SSAE18 SOC1 audit
  • Proficient working knowledge within the following risk domains/technologies is preferred:
    • Database and application security
    • System/Access Administration
    • Firewall technologies
    • Network Architecture
    • Security Event Logging & Monitoring
    • Database/Application/Network Layer Secure Protocols
    • Physical and Environmental Security
    • Secure Software/Code Development
    • Change Management
    • Vulnerability Management
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead discussions and meetings
  • Proficient risk assessment, interpretation, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in an Agile Delivery Framework
