POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direction, the Business Analyst - Strategy, assists the department management in identifying, establishing, implementing, and monitoring strategy and business related processes that contribute to the success of Clearway Health. The Business Analyst provides direct support on projects designed to achieve Clearway Health revenue goals, increase operational efficiencies and improve competitive advantage. The Business Analyst gathers and analyses data; interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining Works directly with client areas and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

This position will provide key stakeholders, at all levels, with reports and business analysis of required data, consistent with the long term goals and strategy set by Clearway Health Executive leadership. Performs analysis to determine present and future financial performance and supports the Client Development team and other business partners to develop & recommend strategic approach to securing and growing business and improving revenue. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to answer questions and provide solutions as they occur in a rapidly changing environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and stay up to date on healthcare, government policy, and competitive trends to identify new target markets, new buyers, or new product offerings
  • Develop analysis to inform Clearway Health strategy, including market insights and trends, payor / regulatory landscape (state and federal), pharma landscape, evolution of value proposition as market evolves, pricing strategy, new business lines
  • Utilize insights to develop forward-looking analysis to evaluate Clearway Health' role in the market and opportunities for program expansion and / or development
  • Support the Client Development team to evaluate new business opportunities and problem solve novel client situations that require new operating models and / or value capture approaches
  • Participate in the evaluation of new products and services and go-to-market (GTM) process including but not limited to feasibility evaluations, cost to launch, growth expectations, etc.
  • Establish pricing models, if applicable, for novel program offerings at potential and current CHS clients
  • Perform rigorous analysis using internal and external data sources to understand current and project future financial and operational performance at all Clearway Health client sites
  • Partner with Operations team to provide insights to drive growth planning and analytic insight on novel operational approaches at all Clearway Health client sites
  • Develop executive level presentations and materials that illustrate a compelling story about new business opportunities that Clearway Health should pursue
  • Provides business analysis and pro forma to support new business, including ROI's.
  • Performs other functions as assigned

Other responsibilities of the position include:

  • Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and rules, and accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the 340B drug program, insurance navigation and basic pharmacy liaison workflows.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Science or related field is required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

  • N/A

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of data or analytics experience, including recent experience as a Business Analyst is required.
  • Experience working in the Health Care industry, specifically with pharmacy data is required.
  • Consulting, finance, or related field that involves strategic problem solving or new product development preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Basic understanding of specific business processes in health systems (340B, pharmacy, clinic operations)
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and very detail-oriented focus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player, including flexibility and creative problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Requisite poise, judgment, and trustworthiness to represent CH to internal and external groups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers. Experience with SQL and statistical analysis tools a plus.
  • Ability to maintain strict protocols of all confidential or sensitive information.
