Business Analyst with State Experience

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on website redesign and CMS implementation projects within the Florida Department of Health or similar governmental healthcare agencies.

• In-depth knowledge of DOH procedures, protocols, regulations, and standards, with a demonstrated ability to navigate the department's organizational structure and stakeholder landscape.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate complex business processes, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions that align with DOH requirements and priorities.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members within the DOH environment.

• Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and stakeholder management, tailored to the specific needs and nuances of the Florida DOH context.

• Familiarity with web development technologies, content management systems, and digital accessibility standards.

• Experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies is preferred.

• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
