Dev Technology Group is seeking a Business Analyst/Tester/Scrum Master who is local to the Chicago and Washington D.C. areas to support our CFTC client's mission to develop new tools and technologies, make enhancements, and provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for existing systems. Dev Technology Group works in an agile environment and seeks team members who have a strong desire to develop technically and foster collaboration.  

Responsibilities:   

• Coordinate and conduct working sessions to gather and document requirements
• Work closely with developers to ensure all requirements are understood, documented, and tested
• Perform Tier 2 support activities and manage user support issues
• Participating in management and reporting of user helpdesk tickets including triaging, prioritization and assignment to developers
• Develops testing documents with success criteria, executes detailed tests, test scripts, regression tests, and documents test results
• Provide demos and supports prep efforts in conjunction with developers to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot to determine the source of system errors
• Create and/or review documents needed to support application release
• Support user acceptance testing
• support business process re-engineering efforts to configure the system to meet new government initiatives

Required Education, Skills and Experience: 

• Must have 3 years of experience combined with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience implementing systems to financial users, especially financial systems related to the commodity futures, options, and swaps industry is a plus
• Experience working in agile environments
• Experience with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Organized and detail-oriented with a curiosity to learn and a drive to succeed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Remote Work:

• Employees must be on-site or in the local commuting areas of the CFTC DC Headquarters location and/or Chicago Regional Office.
• CFTC is currently in a remote-work posture, and remote work may be allowed at the COR's discretion. However, candidates must be within commuting distance.
