Business Analytics Advisor

What you'll do:

• Understanding of Medicare Line of Business processes and Reporting
• Delivery of a business need end-to-end starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production.
• Ability to conduct advanced data analysis.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, prioritize workload to accommodate project deadlines.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
• Ability to learn new technology and technical products to increase technical skills and expertise.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• New application development:
• Translate business needs into practical applications and solutions.
• Technical design, programming, unit & system test.
• Identify defects, root cause analysis, and develop solutions.
• Identify opportunities for technical enhancements, process automations, and process improvements.
• Document new functionality.
• Keep management informed as to the progress of reporting development
• Production support, maintenance, and enhancement to existing applications

What you should have:

• Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field preferred.
• Analytical skills
• Decision making ability (Problem Solving, Priority Setting, Perseverance)
• Attention to details
• Team player that is comfortable under pressure and a changing environment
• Teradata SQL experience: 3+ years
• IBM Mainframe: 3+ years
• CA7: 3+ years

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
