Business Analytics Advisor - Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analytics Advisor role will focus on providing reporting and data driven insights to the Account Management team for the World Trade Center Health Program (WTC), and provide support for the Department of Defense (DOD) reporting & analytics team. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with multiple Federal program leaders, business stakeholders, and other analysts. The Business Analytics Advisor is responsible for the analysis, development and maintenance of reports, dashboards and other solutions (including ad hoc analyses) that support and fulfill business needs across the teams.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Analytics, Military Division, this position will help to assist in data research and analytics to support client care, improvement, and strategy. The candidate filling this position will require a strategic, collaborative mindset that will help support the existing landscape and must also possess tech-savvy data management and reporting skills. The analyst will apply fundamental Pharmacy Benefits knowledge combined with understanding data mining and analytics to help identify new initiatives and increase the level of care. You will effectively present findings and recommendations and interact closely with stakeholder and cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated, flexible, and open to change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to strategize, design, and present new visualizations and client data insights to turn complex problems using large amounts of data into easily understandable and impactful analyses.

Work with stakeholders to proactively identify reporting and analytical needs.

Create and display information through charts, graphs, tables, and other visualizations.

Conduct ad hoc analyses taking large volumes of data and developing meaningful insights that help inform decisions related to, but not limited to claims, population, network, clinical and operational initiatives.

Develop working understand of both WTC and DOD business to be able to work across teams as needed.

Work on special projects and tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred OR equivalent years of related work experience.

Experience with data mining.

Experience with SQL and Trend Central preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated with strong customer focus and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.

Effective user of MS Office software, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

Experience with report design and building dashboards (Tableau preferred).

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 95,300 - 158,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
