Business Analytics Associate

We are looking for an Business Analytics Associate who is strategic thinker that can turn analytics into actionable insights. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product and sales to deliver impactful analysis that help meet company goals.

In this role you will: 

• Conduct and present analysis on major operational challenges and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions for non-analytical partners
• Re-define and challenge company KPIs that are critical to achieving company and business unit goals
• Work closely with the product and operations teams in defining tests and experimental design, and report findings to senior leadership.

You will excel in this role, if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM, or other analytical field with a GPA of 3.2+.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You focus on the highest-value initiatives and can manage competing priorities.
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You see opportunities where others see challenges. 
• You are driven by outcomes, rather than output.
• You thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
• You have strong data skills including Excel, dataset manipulation, data visualization, and presentation.

What Will Set You Apart

• You have proven work experience in marketing, product, strategy, or business analytics. 
• You have experience in consulting, financial services, fintech, or a high growth start-up.
• You are proficient with SQL, R or Python, and BI/Data Visualization tool (Looker, Tableau)

Beyond Finance is a Chicago based company and is looking for candidates in the Chicagoland area. Candidates from other markets may be considered if they have proven success working in a fully remote environment.
