As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's ACFR organization, you will be based anywhere PNC Bank has a footprint or remote.
In this role of Business Analytics Manager, you will be responsible to build and lead a team of BI/ Analytics engineers who distill large, complicated datasets into automated, digestible analytical solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong business judgment, computer science or other engineering background, organization skills and collaborates well with product managers in the ALM and Balance Sheet Analytics and Modeling business teams to define and drive strategic system and architecture implementation goals. You will be leading developing, maintaining and monitoring CECL model risk and other related Balance Sheet reporting and the ongoing analytics support for CECL production performing any ad-hoc analysis to support overall portfolio / LOB analytics.
7+ years of experience managing a BI/ Data Lake/ Regulatory Analytics and Reporting team and influencing the data strategy of your team or organization • 5+ years of experience as hands on BI Engineer or in a similar role (e.g., Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Scientist) with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets• Advanced SQL and Linux hands-on expertise• Experience working on Cloud platforms, data warehousing, data modeling, building ETL pipelines, and using SQL• Experience with at least one parallel processing data technology such as Spark or Hadoop, Dremio. Snowflake based big data solution• Experience hiring, developing, and promoting both technical and non-technical roles• Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources• Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines are necessary skills.• Focused on continuous improvement of yourself, the team, and the systems we build• A self-directed, innovative thinker with intellectual curiosity who will voice a strategic vision for reporting and visualization for operational and financial improvement• Highly skilled at communication, relationship building, influence/negotiation and team building• Focused on continuous improvement of yourself, the team, and the systems we build
