Business Analytics Lead Analyst - Work at Home
Job Description
The primary purpose for this job is for a Lead Analyst to provide direct analytic support for the Transparency and Digital Provider Solution product team. Lead Analyst will work with different data types, including but not limited too medical and pharmacy claims. This role will support multiple analytic efforts from descriptive and diagnostic to predictive and prescriptive. This role will require a reporting and analytics background with preferred experience in supporting product performance and client reporting. This individual will possess functional, technical and advanced business knowledge to provide customized, scalable solutions for the product owners. In addition, there will be a technical component that is required with a thorough understanding of relational databases, the information warehouse, claims data, SQL, and tableau.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analytics - Develop new reports, models and analytic solutions with innovative ways to present data in order to support the product team. This requires combining business knowledge and data acumen along with technical (SAS, SQL) skills to efficiently complete these ad-hoc requests. Query data warehouse(s) using variety of tools available.
- Extract data and manipulate into reports for both internal and external reporting.
- Maintain turn-around times per contractual agreements or service level agreements.
- Consultation - Consultation with product and account management teams to help understand complex issues and requests. Cross-Functional collaboration as needed to create alignment with stakeholders.
- Collaboration - Lead Analyst will need to collaborate with multiple departments across the company including Product Management, Account Management, Finance, Operations, Pharma, Research, Advanced Analytics, and other internal Knowledge Solutions areas. Lead Analyst will need to facilitate hand-offs between multiple areas and will be asked to provide SME support on multiple projects/initiatives.
- Project management and prioritization Lead Analyst will be overseeing multiple projects and initiatives.
- Lead Analyst will need to be able to manage multiple initiatives at the same time and negotiate timelines/priority with stakeholders.
- Communication - effectively communicate goals, outcomes, direction to all stakeholders including internal employees.
- Create a unified voice and environment for open dialogue and collaboration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
- 2-5 years' experience with bachelor's degree.
- Superior analytical, strategic planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, Tableau, SAS, SQL; experience in pulling data and understanding relational databases.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, problems solve, and work in fast-paced environment.
- Customer service focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative, independent thinker and worker.
- Detail-oriented; Comfortable working with numerical data and information.
- Ability to identify, design, recommend, and implement efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex benefits challenges.
- Ability to develop and execute on strategic business plans and set direction for teams.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 72,800 - 121,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
