Business Application Analyst

Reports to: Director of IT

Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: $100,000 to $115,000 base plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do:

As a Business Application Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and business objectives at Huntress. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, translate those needs into technical requirements, and ensure that IT solutions align with the company's strategic goals. We are seeking a highly analytical and communicative individual who is passionate about problem-solving and driving business value through technology. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring that IT investments deliver tangible results and support the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT and business teams to ensure mutual understanding of needs and goals
• Conduct thorough business analysis to gather requirements, identify pain points, and develop solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications, ensuring seamless execution by the IT team
• Monitor and evaluate IT projects to ensure they meet business needs and deliver expected outcomes
• Proactively identify process improvement and optimization opportunities, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions that support business growth and innovation
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Adhere to established procedures to obtain necessary approvals and procure software solutions for department teams

What You Bring To The Team:

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role
• Experience working with SaaS applications such as Salesforce and Hubspot
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships across departments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Monday Work Management, Asana, or Jira
• Ability to evaluate SaaS applications and make recommendations based on specific business needs and requirements
• Solid understanding of security best practices for SaaS environments
