Responsibilities

As a Business Architect, you will work closely with both product and development teams define and transform business strategy, capabilities, and processes. This senior role requires you to have both business and technical expertise as you play a key role in analyzing business needs to determine business and information technology requirements.

This role offers rich opportunities to develop as a leader, problem solver, and strategic planner. There will be frequent opportunities to interact with and influence senior decision makers. You will also help scale the Business Architecture group by improving our methodologies and mentoring others on the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define and assisting in the execution of strategic solutions that align with GB's business and technical needs across a multitude of projects, products and programs.
  • Partner with senior resources to solves unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact.
  • Use innovative thinking to develop new solution recommendations.
  • Partner with project team to resolve complex requirements or issues.
• Develop and draft solution recommendations, analysis summaries, process documents, requirements and roadmaps for various projects and programs across GB's business units, applications, and products.
  • Frequent collaboration with external and internal project resources to document business issues, pain points and solution summaries.
  • Review of all project requirements, providing sign off when appropriate.
  • Participate in weekly roundtable discussion of current projects with other Business Architects.
  • Draft communication that will be used to influence stakeholders to reach a conclusion or make decisions based on analysis findings.
  • Present recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely within the Business Architecture team.
• Drive and facilitate discussion with business leaders to identify future objectives. Define improvement initiatives and participate in strategic planning and project initiation activities.
• Advocate and drive adoption of Business Architecture best practices to ensure standardization of outputs across the team.
• Effectively manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines with little need for escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of related experience
• Excellent analysis skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to drive recommendations across organizational boundaries.
• Experience working in both Agile/Scrum & Waterfall development processes
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be self-directed and able to perform project duties with minimal direction and supervision
