Business Associate

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As an integral part of the team, and contact person for the Care Center, the Business Associate isresponsible for the business aspects of a patient's stay and the patient centered care within the CareCenter. These activities include; capacity management program functions, pre-admitting andadmitting, registration, maintaining census information, chart maintenance and completion, scheduling,OR/procedure booking, performing unit reception duties, and other duties as needed.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
1.High School graduate or equivalent
2.Interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the carecenter.
3.Knowledge of keyboarding and basic computer skills
4.Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
5.Successful completion of Business Associate training program and competency based orientation.

7. Verbal and/or written knowledge of Spanish. Must be able to communicate effectively in
Spanish as well as English.
