Job Description:
Position: Business Change Manager
Location: Norfolk, VA, Hanover, MD, Indianapolis, ID, Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Flex 1 (0-3 days per month in office)
Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.
- Leads efforts to identify best practices.
- Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
- Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
- Designs methods for integrating function and process.
- Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
- Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign is strongly preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Subject Matter Expert of GBD Data Mining Operations processes
- Clear communication skills, demonstrates leadership qualities, effectively train and guide the department to success.
- Good judgement with decision making, a positive Attitude, Trustworthy, Open minded to changes
- Independent needing little guidance with daily duties, takes initiative
- Subject Matter Expert - Write Business Requirements for data mining queries and audit results
- Subject Matter Expert - Quality Auditing
- Subject Matter Expert - Process Improvement
- Subject Matter Expert - Training
