Business Continuity Specialist

Qualifications:

·       3-5 years of relevant experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field

·       Strong oral and written communications skills.

·       Knowledge of Continuity of Operations, Business Continuity, and/or Continuity of Government principles.

·       Exhibits strong adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail in planning and executing several projects.

·       Experience in providing excellent customer service.

·       Skill in research, documentation, reporting, technical writing, and record management.

·       Skill in outreach, presentation, coordination, and project management.

·       Ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision.

·       Ability to recognize and deal with politically sensitive issues in both technical and legislative environments. Ideal candidate will be seen as a consensus builder, finding ways to get to "yes".

·       Must be willing to occasionally travel, potentially with limited notice, and perform contingency operations. This would include the ability to lift (up to 50 pounds) and load equipment.

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
