Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Lead for Testing CoE the new hire would need to provide leadership on managaing the GRE Testing CoE based out of India. This would involve migration of testing from other Geos managing the team of testers efficient execution of testing per established Test Programs management reporting supporting various Audits etc.

Landlord due diligence is another key area for GRE Operations as that sets the tone for IBM to engage with the most ethical landlords. The new resource needs to ensure that the required landlord due diligence checks are carried out accurately and on timely basis. Needs to liase with the GRE PMs Trust & Compliance Global process owners in setting up required governance standards for the CoE and driving efficient execution.

As part of the Business Controls Advisor responsiblities need to ensure efficient handling handling of the Controls testing activities for various Markets in Asia Pacific which includes :

• Drive adherence to IBM controls framework including key elements such as the key control testing Management Self Assessment of Control (MSAC) and the Quarterly Certification of Management (QCM).
• Provide proactive risk-based and forward-thinking advisory support to improve control posture. Includes assessing of new emerging risks and the adequacy of controls
• Perform Controls testing (SOX / BLM / Local Compliance) as per the established test plan and frequencies.
• Identify innovative ways to promote efficiency and effectiveness of business operations through process simplification automation and risk-based decision making.
• Provide education and consulting support on the existing and/or new processes..
• Extend end to end support for audits and reviews in GRE (includes Corporate Audits client audits peer reviews Statutory Audits-Pwc)
• Participate in independent proactive reviews and offer recommendations to enhance the controls posture.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experienced Business Controls professional with some exposure to Real estate function ;
• Expertise in deployment of SoX controls Managing team of testers and Metrics reporting;
• Experience in leading Peer Reviews providing advisory services to Business Units and Audit support.
• Presentation skills

• Strong communication problem solving critical thinking skills;
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel and Powerpoint
