Business Data Analyst

As a member of the Zayo Business Insights and Analytics team, you will work collaboratively to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and profitability. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data from various sources to generate insights and identify trends.

• Develop data models and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Conduct research and perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

• Develop and implement tools and processes to improve data quality and efficiency.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in analytics and data visualization.

• Understand the Zayo data architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.

• Experience manipulating data from CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

• Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.

• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of business operations and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Experience in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Base pay range: $75,500 - $90,000, commensurate with experience
