Business Developer – Blockchain Consulting Company
Job Description
The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in blockchain consulting. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of blockchain’s value across industries, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
• Identify and target new clients in finance, hospitality, supply chain, and other industries adopting blockchain.
• Develop customized proposals and solutions that align blockchain services with client needs.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, and industry events.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding goals and challenges.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on blockchain adoption, stablecoins, and digital assets.
• Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Market Expansion & Strategy
• Conduct market research to identify blockchain trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to sales strategy and go-to-market plans.
• Represent the company at blockchain, fintech, and hospitality conferences.
• Partnership Development
• Forge alliances with blockchain platforms, fintech companies, and industry associations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
• Drive sponsorship and partnership opportunities for conferences and events.
Sales & Performance
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM updates.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of business development or sales experience, ideally in blockchain, fintech, or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and digital assets.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Established network in finance, technology, or hospitality industries is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51.77 - $62.34 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
