Business Developer – German-Speaking Switzerland
Job Description
For more than 20 years, Lucca has been developing SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement. We address the main administrative and HR management issues: time and activities, expense reports, personnel administration, annual reviews, and measuring well-being at work.
Our solutions are used today by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Deezer, Michel & Augustin...).
While we operate in the very serious field of management tools, our work is guided by the belief that a management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That's why we attach great importance to the design of our interfaces and the user experience.
Our workforce, which currently stands at +650 people, keeps growing in France (Paris, Marseille, Nantes), but also in our new offices: Spain (Barcelona), Germany (Munich) and Switzerland (Geneva)!

Job description
We are looking for a Business Developer to join our Swiss team.
Reporting to the Head of Sales Switzerland, you will participate in the definition and execution of the business development strategy for the german-speaking part of Switzerland. To be successful in your mission, youβll have to interact and work with various Business Units at Lucca (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product) in Switzerland, France, Spain and Germany.
As one of the first members of our team in the german-speaking part of Switzerland, you will be a cornestone of this adventure!
Details of the tasks
Your missions will evolve as you acquire seniority, but here are the main tasks you will do on a daily basis:
- Search for new business opportunities using any relevant mean (phone, email, linkedin, professional networkβ¦) and qualify inbound demand generated by the Marketing Team ;
- Deeply understand the needs of our potential clients in Switzerland and obtain qualified appointments (physically or remotely) ;
- Present our solutions and convince of our added value ;
- Quote commercial offers, negotiate and finally close deals ;
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and identify new needs among our clients in order to sell them new solutions ;
- Suggest new sales techniques, optimizing our lead qualification strategy and processes ;
- Rigorously use our CRM Salesforce and our marketing automation tool Outreach.
Preferred experience
β Bachelor or Master degree in sales or related field.
β You have 3 years prior experience in a B2B sales role in the Swiss market, ideally in a SaaS or subscription model company.
β Knowledge of the HR domain would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, we will teach you ;).
β You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, recovering quickly from setbacks and seeing them as an opportunity to progress.
β You like to work in an international team and in a good mood. Team spirit and intellectual curiosity are your top 2 qualities.
β You are totally fluent in Swiss German or German.
β You have a very good command of English and French is a plus.
