Business Development Analyst - Express Scripts - Remote

The Business Development Analyst role is a new opportunity focused on supporting our Regulated Markets team with EGWP prospect and Medicare Health Plan support through RFP execution, special projects, and initiatives. This unique role is a part of the Express Scripts Client Strategy team, with primary responsibility of providing support to our Client Strategists with administrative needs of our Medicare Health Plan/ EGWP clients and prospects strategy and retention. This would include providing successful RFP execution through winning responses, RFPIO database management, SharePoint maintenance, power point presentations, pipeline tracking and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, this role will support Market Strategy team initiatives including coordinating team meetings, supporting special projects, maintaining tracking documents. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, RFPs and/or knowledge of PBM industry and be excellent at building and maintaining infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

• Develop deep understanding of Medicare market dynamics/ client needs, as well as ability position RFP responses to uniquely meet those needs
• Assist Market Strategists in RFP execution from start to finish including managing all requests to ESI
• Manage and oversee pipeline/ client tracking and reporting
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our RFP workflow and database management tool (RFPIO), employ critical thinking to optimize content within the tool, and drive greater efficiency and effortlessness into the proposal management process
• Ensure RFP responses are accurate, client-appropriate, and meet our department expectation of "good" by partnering closely with subject matter experts across the organization
• Build strong, deep relationships with key cross-functional partners and clients we support
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills to support interactions with VP-level colleagues
• Responsible for supporting various team functions including internal meetings, cross functional projects and demonstrate the department in a positive manner.

• Knowledge of PBM or healthcare industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

This role is Flex/Work from Home which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 30 - 45 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
